Now with First Person View!

Things have been a little slow, work has been busy, summer has been busy and meant to be enjoyed, but now that the fall is here and in full swing, it's time to get down to brass tacks. I've been plugging away at a few decent changes over the last couple of weeks. I've got a First Person camera view in as well as I've got the game working full screen on the Mac and PC now. Performance seems to be working fine on all my devices, controllers are working well now on everything. I initially had designed around touch, so once I started moving towards a more multi-platform approach the controller support needed a little more consideration, especially for things like the map and options menu.

I still need to work on cleaning up the posing and seeing if everything still works with my animation cycles, and I also want to redo all the textures from scratch. That will probably come last, and texture painting is my weakest skill set out of all of this. I think things are currently fun though for a simple pick up and play. The game looks pretty neat on my giant 49" widescreen monitor too! I also need to get my little intro scene in that adds a very small story element to everything. The menu's shading I want to get more metallic looking, and then I need to get some recordings so if you are just sitting on the menu it'll cycle through some game play. I think I'm pretty close to getting things up on Steam as a demo. Hopefully just a couple more weeks.
